About WarPigs Craft Kitchen

In 2011, owner and pitmaster Larry Hillix decided Sonoma County was ready for War Pigs BBQ, building a craft kitchen on a special blend of spices and rubs inspired by Gary Park of G's Slow Smoked BBQ. The idea was simple: pair real precision and quality with the familiar flavors of hanging out with family around the grill.

Today WarPigs is a Northern California craft kitchen drawing on classic American comfort food, Southern smokehouse tradition, and seasonal California ingredients. Beyond the kitchen they cater corporate events, weddings, and private gatherings, and regularly host pop-ups with local breweries, wineries, and community venues.
