Our story

About LaSalette

Established in 1998 on the Sonoma Plaza, LaSalette is Chef Manuel Azevedo’s love letter to his native Portugal. His "New Portuguese Cuisine" celebrates the varied, complex flavors of the Portuguese homeland while drawing on the top-quality ingredients of California wine country.

The kitchen centers on a wood-fired oven and bread baked fresh daily, with hearty seafood dishes, standout desserts, and a concise wine list of Northern California and Portuguese bottles — rounded out by one of the area’s most extensive Port and Madeira selections.
