Our story
Sunce — ‘sun’ in Croatian — is a small, family-owned, ultra-premium winery on Olivet Road west of Santa Rosa, in the heart of Sonoma County's Russian River Valley. Founded by the Franicevic family in 1991, it has spent more than three decades making wine the way a family does: by hand, in small lots, with quality always preferred over quantity.
Each release is limited — sometimes to 200 cases or fewer — and spans rare varietals, single-vineyard designates, and classic blends, with many wines pre-sold to members through barrel futures. Tastings are by the glass in a relaxed, welcoming setting where kids are always free and well-behaved pets are welcome.
On the menu
Seated tastings of current small-lot releases, $25 per person; free for members and up to two guests. Reservations recommended — capacity is limited.
Members taste free and reserve upcoming limited bottlings as barrel futures before they sell out.
An ever-changing lineup of rare varietals, single-vineyard designates, and classic Sonoma blends made in tiny quantities.
