Handmade Pies, Sweet and Savory

Petaluma Pie Company has been making sweet and savory pies from local and organic ingredients since 2010. Founded by a local Petaluma entrepreneur and his mother, the little shop in Helen Putnam Plaza buys direct from farmers — and even grows some of its own produce — sourcing butter, eggs, cheese, meat, and fruit from Petaluma, Sonoma County, and Northern California.

The case is split between savory hand pies — shepherd’s pie, chicken pot pie, gyoza — and sweet seasonal fruit and cream pies like strawberry rhubarb, apple, cherry, and chocolate cream. Everything is available hot and ready to eat, or frozen to take and bake at home.
