Our story
About The Male Room
The Male Room first opened its doors in 2018 on 4th Street, founded by Emily Weigel with a simple goal: to create a space where guys could get great haircuts and feel right at home. In 2021 the shop expanded to its current 3rd Street location — a six-chair, 1,500-square-foot space with plenty of room to relax.
That same year, Emily teamed up with her husband, Galen Magee, who came on board as co-owner and GM. Together they built a crew of dedicated men's hair specialists, including Heather Rae, Amanda and Laurel. Every visit starts with understanding your goals, lifestyle and style — finished off with a scalp massage, precision detailing and a complimentary beverage.
