The craft
Reynoso’s Stoneworks is a family-owned masonry shop that has worked Sonoma County, California’s homes and gardens since 2000. The work is the old kind: natural stone, brick and block fitted by hand, with reinforced concrete where it counts — built to traditional standards, not rushed.
Jose Reynoso treats every wall like it carries the family name — because sometimes it literally does. That care is why so much of their work is neighbor-to-neighbor across Santa Rosa and the wider county.
“ We’d rather lay one wall that lasts a generation than ten that don’t. — the Reynoso family
What we build
One family crew across the full range of masonry, so the same hands that pour the footing set the last cap stone.
Stone facing for entryways, fireplaces, accent walls and exterior facades — fieldstone, ledgestone and cut stone, fit tight and true.
Engineered retaining and garden walls built for the slope they hold — drained, reinforced and laid to stand for the long haul.
Paver patios, flagstone paths and walkways set on a proper base — outdoor living areas built level, drained and made to last.
Structural and decorative brickwork, CMU block walls and garden walls — load-bearing or finish work, mortared by hand.
Stone fireplaces, chimneys, pillars, fountains and entry columns — the focal-point pieces that give a property its character.
Reinforced concrete and foundation work, plus repairs and repointing — restoring old masonry as carefully as building new.
How it goes
Call Jose Reynoso and walk the site together. You get a straight estimate — and honest masonry advice — at no charge.
We help you choose the right stone, brick or paver for the look and the load, then set the lines so it sits right before a single course goes down.
Proper base and footing, reinforced where it matters, then stone fit and mortared by hand — the part you can't rush and we don't.
We leave a clean site and work that's made to stand for decades — the kind of wall a neighbor points to and asks who built it.
Why homeowners call

Based in Santa Rosa, working homes and gardens across the county — much of it neighbor referrals.
Reynoso’s is still a small shop, so reviews are word-of-mouth more than stars online. The truest reference is the work itself — scroll back through it or ask to visit a finished job.
